What is this?
A groovebox. Every sound you hear is built from scratch in your browser, live. No samples, no plugins, no streaming. Just oscillators and noise pretending to be a band that has had two negronis and watched the sun go down over the West Pier.
Play starts the set. Roll the groove writes a brand new one: new key, new chords, new beat.
The moods lean the whole thing somewhere different. Yacht Club is lush and major. After Hours is moodier and slower. Crazy Disco does what it says.
The grid is the drum machine. Tap cells to add or kill hits. Rows are kick, hat, open hat, snare and clap.
Copy a link bakes the whole groove into a URL. Send it to someone and they hear the exact same thing.
Filter is the DJ move. Slide left to muffle everything underwater, right to thin it to a whisper, centre for off.
Build & drop winds the tension up over two bars with a riser and a snare roll, then kicks the door in.
Scratch by tapping either turntable. Left deck, right deck, go nuts.
Tap the dog on the beat to set the tempo. He is a patient metronome.
Solo over the top with keys A to K. They are tuned to whatever key the groove is in, so you cannot play a bum note.
Auto-mix hands the dog the aux lead. He rolls a fresh groove every eight bars and rides the filter through the change, forever.
And yes, the drop now ends with a bark.
The dog does the rest. He is good at his job. He has eaten 24k biscuits, conservatively.
