This page explains what information I collect when you contact me or use a tool on this site, why I use it and how to ask about it.

Contact and site analytics

If you email me, I receive your email address and message. The contact form sends your name, email, optional company, topic and message through Formspree to my inbox. I use that information to reply and manage our conversation.

The site uses self-hosted Plausible for aggregate traffic and tool-use statistics. Its script runs in your browser through this site's first-party proxy. I don't sell your information or use advertising pixels.

Using the free tools

The tools process the website address and other information you submit to provide the requested check. Public pages may be fetched and analysed. Please don't submit confidential information in a question or form.

Cloudflare hosts or protects these services and provides the Turnstile bot check. Request and network information is used for security and rate limits. Resend handles tool emails. When a tool sends a report or captures a request, a copy or notification can also reach my inbox.

The free AI visibility check

The free check takes your URL and email address. It fetches website content, generates three test questions and samples answers from three AI models. OpenRouter processes website content and prompts through the model providers. Your email is not included in those model prompts.

The report and request record use a 30-day expiry in Cloudflare storage. Report emails and request notifications in my inbox are separate from that expiry. This is a requested report, and I won't add you to a marketing list or send further emails unless you reply.

Retriever

Retriever takes a page address, a question, your email and an optional comparison URL. The scoring service on my Hostinger server fetches the public pages and compares their passages with your question.

Cloudflare stores the request and email address when you run the check, before confirmation. The server stores the result. Resend sends a confirmation email and, after you confirm, the evidence-card link. The confirmation link expires after 24 hours; that is not a deletion deadline for the request or report. These records do not currently have automatic 30-day deletion. You can ask me to remove them.

The Agent-Readiness Audit

The Agent-Readiness Audit checks a public URL in a browser on my Hostinger server. It uses fixed checks of the page structure and accessibility information. No AI model receives the page content for this check.

You can see the initial findings without an email address. If you request the full report, the tool records your email and any name you provide, sends the report link and notifies me. As stated on the form, I may follow up about your results and whether I can help. You can ask me to stop.

Generated report files are stored on my server and are eligible for deletion after 30 days through the tool's cleanup process. Lead records and email correspondence are stored separately and are not automatically deleted with the report. Temporary cached results and network information also support rate limiting.

Ask Volume

Ask Volume fetches website content and sends it through OpenRouter to suggest questions about your market. It samples answers through Perplexity and records mentions and returned source links.

The initial check needs no email address. Requesting the full report records your email in the request, sends the report link through Resend and notifies me. The Cloudflare report record expires after 30 days, with that period restarting when the report is unlocked. Email copies and request notifications are separate records. I don't add you to a bulk marketing list.

Schema Sniffer

Schema Sniffer fetches a public page and checks its structured data. Its commentary service sends the page URL, title, description and structured findings through OpenRouter to an AI model. It does not send your email as part of that model request.

The on-screen findings need no email address. If you request draft markup, Resend emails it to you and sends me a notification with your email and the checked URL. As stated on the form, I may send updates about how search engines use structured data; you can ask me to stop.

The report record in Cloudflare storage expires after 30 days. Rate-limit records expire after 26 hours. Those expiry periods do not delete emails already sent to you or stored in my inbox.

Why I use this information

I use legitimate interests to respond to enquiries, provide requested reports, keep the tools secure and manage relevant follow-up described on the forms. You can object to follow-up and ask me to stop or remove your details.

These services use external hosting, email and model providers. Processing is not restricted to the UK or EU. Report expiry does not control a provider's own operational records or email copies. Contact me if you need more detail about a particular request.

Want it deleted?

Email me at [email protected] and I will. That covers contact enquiries and anything submitted through the free tools. You also have the right to ask what I hold and to request a copy.
