Privacy

Short version: I don't sell your data. I don't run third-party tracking pixels that share data with ad networks. I use server-side analytics that don't drop tracking cookies on you.

What I collect

  • If you email me, your email and whatever you put in the message.
  • If you submit the contact form, name, email, company (optional), topic and message. Sent via Formspree to my inbox.
  • If you use the free LLM visibility audit, the URL you want checked and your email address. Detail in its own section below.
  • If you use the free Agent-Readiness Audit, the URL you want checked and, for the full report, your name and email. Detail in its own section below.
  • Aggregate, anonymous traffic analytics. No cross-site tracking.

What I do with it

Reply to you. Decide whether we're a fit. Keep your details on file only as long as a working conversation is active.

The free LLM visibility audit

If you use the free audit tool at /audit, a little more happens, so here is the detail in plain terms.

  • What you give me: the website URL you want checked, and the email address the report is sent to.
  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You asked for an audit, so I run it and send it to you.
  • What I do with it: the tool fetches your homepage, generates three test prompts, and runs them through three AI models to see whether your brand is mentioned. The result is a report page.
  • Retention: the report and its data are stored for 30 days, then deleted automatically. Your email address is kept beyond that only so I can recognise repeat requests and reply if you wrote back, and you can have it removed any time.
  • Bot check: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated abuse out. It is strictly necessary for the tool to work and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

The audit relies on a handful of sub-processors, each doing one job:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, stores the report, and runs the bot check.
  • Resend delivers the report email.
  • OpenRouter routes the test prompts to the AI models (Claude, Gemini and GPT). Only the generated test prompts are sent. Your email address is not.

Data is handled primarily within the EU on Cloudflare's edge network. Where any processing reaches the United States, it is covered by the EU to US Data Privacy Framework. The audit is a transactional service: I will not add you to a marketing list, and you will not be emailed again unless you reply.

The Agent-Readiness Audit

If you use the free Agent-Readiness Audit at /tools/agent-ready, here is the detail in plain terms.

  • What you give me: the website URL you want checked, and, only if you ask for the full report, your name and email. The score and the headline issues run with no details at all.
  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You asked for the report, so I run the check and send it to you, and I may follow up about your results and whether I can help fix them. You can ask me to stop at any time.
  • What I do with it: the tool loads your page in a browser, reads its accessibility tree and structure, and scores whether an AI agent can perceive, navigate and cite it. It only ever requests publicly accessible URLs, and cannot log in to anything or reach private pages.
  • No AI models involved: unlike the audit above, no LLMs or AI models see your data or your page's content. The whole check runs in a browser on my own server.
  • Retention: generated reports are stored for 30 days, then deleted automatically, and any shareable report link stops working after that. Your name and email are kept so I can follow up, and until you ask me to remove them.
  • Cookies and tracking: the tool sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics cookies or marketing pixels. Your IP address is held only briefly in memory to rate-limit the tool, and is not stored with your details.

This tool relies on two sub-processors, each doing one job:

  • Cloudflare hosts and protects the tool, stores the report, and processes your IP address for security.
  • Resend delivers the report email.

Data sits primarily on Cloudflare's EU edge, and any processing that reaches the United States is covered by the EU to US Data Privacy Framework, the same as the audit above. This one is a lead tool, so unlike the audit above I may email you about your results and how I can help. I won't add you to a bulk marketing list, and you can opt out at any time.
