Free tool · AI demand check

What is your market actually asking AI?

Your customers ask ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the questions they used to type into Google. This free check reconstructs that question-space for your market, sorts it by how close to buying someone is, and shows where you already come up. It takes about a minute.

Run the check

Drop in your URL. I'll reconstruct the questions your buyers actually ask AI assistants about your market, sort them by how close to buying they are, and show you where you surface.

How the check works

Read the site, rebuild the questions, check the answers.

No dashboard to learn and no jargon. Three steps, then it gets out of your way.

01 · Read

It reads your site

A real crawler fetches your homepage and works out who you are, what you sell, and who you sell it to. Enough to know your market, not just your keywords.

02 · Rebuild

It rebuilds the questions

It drafts the questions a genuine buyer in your market types into an assistant, from idle research to ready to buy, and models how much demand each one carries. Your brand name is never in them.

03 · Check

It checks where you surface

The highest-demand questions run through a live model. You see where your brand comes up, where it does not, and which sources the answer leans on instead.

Why it matters

You can see your Google demand. Your AI demand is invisible.

Keyword tools count what people type into a search box. They miss the far longer, more revealing questions people now put to an assistant. That is where buying decisions are starting, and most brands have no map of it.

Demand you can't see elsewhere

The full-sentence questions buyers ask an assistant, reconstructed for your market. The ones no keyword tool will show you.

Sorted by intent

Every question placed on the journey from idle awareness to ready-to-buy, so you know which ones are curiosity and which are a customer with a card out.

Where you stand, live

Not training-data guesswork. The check asks the top questions for real, reads the answer, and tells you whether you were named or skipped.

FAQ

Fair questions about the check.

What does Ask Volume do?

It reconstructs the questions your buyers actually ask AI assistants about your market, sorts them by how close to buying someone is, and checks live where your brand surfaces and where a competitor gets named instead.

Is it really free?

Yes. Enter your URL and the check runs with no email. You only give an email to unlock the full demand map, which I also send to your inbox. A couple of checks per site per day keeps it affordable to run.

Where does the live data come from?

The presence check runs the highest-demand questions through Perplexity's live web search, so the answer reflects current results rather than a model's training data alone.

Is the demand number measured or estimated?

It is modelled from buyer intent and phrasing, not measured telemetry. Nobody has true AI prompt-volume data yet, so I am honest about that. Treat it as a sensible relative estimate for prioritising, not a hard search-volume figure.

How long does it take?

About a minute. The site is crawled, the question-space is rebuilt, and the top questions are checked live, then your demand map opens.

Do you keep my email and URL?

The report is stored for 30 days, then deleted. The URL is only used to run the check. Your email is used to send the report and is never shared or sold. The privacy policy spells it out.

When you can see the questions

Being asked is the easy part. Being named is the work.

Once you can see what your market asks AI, the job is getting your brand into those answers: the content, the entities and the citations that make a model reach for you. That is what I do day to day.
